How to Play

🎯 Goal

Build the highest net worth (cash + property - mortgage) by age 55. You start at age 18 and play month by month, making financial decisions along the way.

🚀 Getting Started

• You start at age 18 and play until age 55 (444 months).
• Starting cash: €2,000.
• Starting credit score: 700 (range: 300-850).
• Starting happiness: 70 (range: 0-100).
• In the first month, you must find a job AND rent housing before you can continue.

💼 Jobs & Income

• Jobs come in 4 tiers: Entry, Skilled, Professional, and Expert. Higher tiers require completed courses.
• You get a 5% raise every 24 months at the same job, up to 3 raises max.
• There's a 3% chance of being fired each month. Stay prepared!
• If fired, you receive €900/month unemployment benefits for up to 6 months.

🏠 Housing

• Housing ranges from Shared Room to Family House. Better housing costs more but increases happiness.
• Moving to a new place costs €500.
• You can buy property with a mortgage (requires credit score 600+) or with cash.

💸 Expenses & Finances

• Fixed monthly expenses: €655 (food, transport, insurance, etc.).
• Savings earn 1.5% annual interest. Overdraft costs 12% annual interest.
• If your balance drops below -€2,000, you go bankrupt and are eliminated!

😊 Happiness

• Happiness decays by 8 points each month naturally.
• Better housing offsets decay: Shared Room +1, up to Family House +6.
• Having a job gives +2 happiness/month. Education gives +1/month.
• Boost happiness with subscriptions (Gym, Streaming, Hobby, Pet) and one-time activities (Movies, Restaurant, Spa, etc.).
• Below 20 happiness, you pay medical costs: (20 - happiness) x €15/month.
• If happiness reaches 0, you are eliminated!

🎓 Education

Take courses to unlock higher-tier jobs. Courses cost money and take several months to complete, but unlock better career opportunities with higher salaries.

🏆 Winning

At age 55, the game ends. The player with the highest net worth (cash + property value - mortgage balance) wins! Bankrupt players are ranked last.
